July Savings

Wow, I am getting this post out late. I feel like the last couple of weeks have been a blur. We had a family reunion, my grandparents were in town and then this weekend was the most wonderful time of the year aka the Edmonton Folk Music Festival. So my apologies for getting this out late.

July was an ok savings month for me. I felt like I was spending more money than I should have, but I managed to recoup some of those costs by selling some old backpacks (yay Kijiji!). However, I managed to do pretty well overall, saving 38.6% of my take home pay. Here’s how it all broke down:

  • RRSP – 16.9%
  • Paris – 3.8%
  • Wedding – 17.9%
  • Total: 38.6%

How about you? How was your July?
